Tea tree is one of the essential oils whose action makes it possible to eliminate these “guests” from the scalp. In-vitro studies have shown tea tree essential oil’s ability in increasing the lice elimination percentage*. It is a perfect alternative to the synthetic ingredients of traditional hair lice products.

*Studies have been carried out on the effectiveness in humans of shampoos whose composition includes tea tree. They conclude that this type of product fights the presence of head lice very actively. Phytomedicine 78 (2007), 521-525.

Apply to wet hair, carrying out a massage with your fingertips. Leave to act for a few minutes and remove with abundant water.

Important: to help maintain proper hygiene for the whole school year, it is very important to carry out a meticulous inspection of the scalp by combing the hair strand by strand from roots to ends a number of times with a nit comb, paying special attention to the occipital zone and the area behind the ears, at least once every two weeks and preferably with wet hair.
